About Moonshadowe

I love skulls and creepy stuff. My earliest crush was Bela Lugosi. I have a lifelong love for comic art, pulp cover art and the sketchbooks of the old masters. My earliest influences are da Vinci and Boris Vallejo. My more recent influences are Graham Smith, Ashley Wood, Jason Shawn Alexander, Alex Maleev, Guy Denning, Eli Smallwood, Jorge Zaffino, Sergio Toppi and Francesco Francaviilla. I prefer to work in traditional media; however, I am skilled with Photoshop as well.

If you have questions or comments, or just want to talk shop, feel free to email me at moonshadowe.strangeeden@gmail.com or denise.ross.vanhulst@gmail.com

“Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it.”
Terry Pratchett, Reaper Man

“Time takes it all whether you want it to or not, time takes it all. Time bares it away, and in the end there is only darkness. Sometimes we find others in that darkness, and sometimes we lose them there again.”
Stephen King

“A portrait is just a painting with something wrong with the eyes and mouth.”
